Just kidding. Hand over the chocolate.

My lovely friend, Tez, mentioned in a comment that I didn't have any pictures from my Texas trip of me looking happy. This was odd to me, since I was nothing but happy until the bitter end. So here. I was happy on my trip to Tennessee, too, and I caught some photographic evidence.

I Heart Sunshine

Currently, though, I am still digesting all the massive amounts of food my grandmother stuffed down my face when I wasn't busy gobbling up every cookie in sight. I probably look more bloated than happy. My dad, on the other hand, wants more pie, which boggles my mind

Blackberry Pie

Oh well. Plenty of time to recover before the Christmas treats start rolling in, right? My first student loan payment is about to be due, so pretty soon I won't have enough money to feed myself anyway. I'll finally be able to starve myself like a good little American girl! Hooray!

Oh, my. I'm looking forward to Christmas goodies. :)

Additionally, that pie looks amazing. mmm Pie.

happy american thanksgiving. we have a thanksgiving, but it's not nearly as grand or decadent as yours. sure we eat turkey and pumpkin pie, but we lack any sort of understanding of why we do so or the significance of the thanksgiving celebration. i think it's our country's lack of important pilgrims that make our celebration lackluster... ah well... i hope you enjoyed your family vacation.

i was just checking your lastfm and noticed you were listening to my faaaav Natalie Cole album. I grew up with those songs and know every word. i love to listen to that cd whilst in a luscious bubble bath and sing at the top of my lungs:

"L is for the way you look, you lookin' at meee and O is for the only oooone i seeeeee, V is so very very extraordinary and E is uh-even more than any any any one that you adoooore."

Awww, you look so content.

I am jealous that you are able to wear those cute headbands.

My head must be a weird shape. When I try to wear them they just look like I have a spoiler on my head.

Lame.

Wooo! I just got the 'Skirts Bump! And a lovely picture semi-dedicated to me- today is a good day.

But...that does not look like Rhubarb Pie to me! Not that I'M complaining...

Thursday's Child - I can't vouch for the pie personally, but my family thinks it was pretty amazing.

Mostly Lisa - I always wondered about Canadian Thanksgiving traditions when I would see that on the calendar. You should start a Canadian Pilgrim Thanksgiving Dance or some other fun thing to spice up the holiday a bit.

Also, my brother just picked up that Natalie Cole CD from the bookstore where he works, and I could've hugged him for having such good taste in music. I love that I passed on my love of jazz to him. I also love that you take bubble baths and belt out such awesome music. You're so cool. *sigh*

Jamie - Thank you! I'm pretty sure they're from Target, which means they're cute and inexpensive. Always a plus.

Scrangie - I can't wear a lot of 'em, either. The one pictured was from Target, but that's the only one I've found there that I liked. The ones from New York & Co. fit my head quite nicely, though. As if I needed another reason to love NY&Co.

Tez - Yeah, those cool points you've been earning weren't for nothin'. :) And it's definitely blackberry pie. No rhubarb pie for the Skirts. :( It was very sad. Oh well. I had a ton of cookies and fudge to keep me happy.
