Catch-22: Hermit Edition

Many people trim down their budgets during tough economic times by going out less — cutting down on trips to restaurants, movie theaters, the mall, Starbucks, etc. But what of the poor hermit? He doesn't leave the house as is, so what should he forfeit? Food? What if he is already anorexic?

These are the thoughts I chewed on while walking from my bedroom to the kitchen and back. I need to get out more. But wait . . .

I bet the hermit, if they have a job, has been saving up for years. So now, they can take over the world, as they've got lots of money no one ever knew about.

At first glance, I thought the title was "Catch-22: Kermit Edition." Now, I cannot stop thinking about how Kermit and the rest of the muppets are dealing with these hard economic times.
