Test Entry #1

For the past two weeks, I have gone to bed shortly after hearing my mother's alarm clock going off at 6am. I wake up somewhere between 2:30pm and 4pm, just in time for her to return home from work. Oh, and I should be getting paid shortly for some web design work that I get to do at four o'clock in the morning.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is too good to be true.

That's why LeTourneau decided to send me a cute little letter telling me that if I don't pull up my GPA by the end of this semester, bad things will happen. Namely, I will be suspended. Tada!

On the bright side, I finally figured out what I want to do with my life, which will hopefully give me the motivation I need to get those straight A's again. The plan goes as follows:

Phase 1: Graduate as soon as possible from LeTourneau with a degree in something computery with maybe a smidge of business. Do enough web design to pay the bills and to put food on the table.

Phase 2a: Travel around whilst doing web design. (Yay for a portable career!)
Phase 2b: Switch over to interior design, making web design more of a side job. Possibly "flip" houses for a living, since that seems to pull in some big money and also looks like a ton of fun.

Phase 3: Become awesome like Heather B. Armstrong of Dooce.com and support myself and whatever family I may have then with my insanely popular (non-Xanga) blog! Woohoo!!

For now, I'm going to eat some cereal, read some Dilbert, play some Mario, and head off to bed. Happy almost-the-last-day-of-2006!
