Staying Far Away from Mirrors and Scales
Today, I am thankful for banana bread, Philosophy bath products, dark chocolate fudge, champagne diamonds, kitties, Scrabble, holiday feasts, and all the other lovely things I shared with my family. Tomorrow, we will be thankful for malls and sales and puppy dog tails. And cheesy Christmas movie marathons. Huzzah!

I have the best recipe for banana bread.
This is the third consecutive blog reply I've made that is related to food. Yum.

Banana bread is awesome. My dad makes the best and sends me a loaf often. Good stuff. Glad your holiday was enjoyable!

Jamie - The banana bread was oh-so-yummy, and it was my GRANDMOTHER who introduced me to Philosophy! She is by far the coolest grandmother I know.
Chris Magnusson - Well, you should share this recipe for banana bread with moi! Orrr you could just make me some. That would require a lot less effort on my part.
Tez - I'm kinda wishing that I could have a little banana bread dispenser next to my desk so that I could have some any time I wanted. I'm hungry for it already, and I just finished off like two loaves in the past two days.
Thursday's Child - Christmas goodies beg to differ with you. They claim that they are indeed much tastier than Thanksgiving goodies, and I am inclined to agree.

Oh man... I love Thanksgiving food. It's definitely awesome with pecan and pumpkin and apple pie... Which I made that morning and subsequently devoured that afternoon/evening/weekend. ;-)

Gilligan - Thankfully, the only non-chocolate pie I like is rhubarb, and my grandma didn't make any this year. I filled up on chocolate chip cookies and dark chocolate fudge and Kissables instead. *rubs fat belly* Mmm.
