Let the winter hibernation begin!

December 1, 2007 7:32 PM

December announced its official arrival today by dumping snow and ice all over the roads and trees and people and whatnot.

I Guess I'll Have to Cancel That Tea Party

Thankfully, I got to spend the entire day indoors, lolligagging about in my pajamas and drinking my weight in hot chocolate. Even my cats were impressed with my laziness, and they're not much for hard work. Or easy work, for that matter.

Yawn. I guess I'll just get around to that sea of laundry some other week.

We could all use more lolligagging. Especially if it involves wearing pajamas and drinking hot chocolate.

Oh, I'm so jealous! I wish I could see snow. Or ice. Or temperatures below 65.

Drinking your weight in hot chocolate is hard work, but someone's gotta do it.

Header looks lovely. :-)

It's gross outside. My driveway is covered in a sheet of ice so I am trapped at home with my Grey's Anatomy dvds!

alejna - Amen! Since I'm not attending school this semester, I don't get three weeks off at Christmas to enjoy pajamas and hot cocoa and lolligagging, so I try to squeeze it in on the weekends. It makes the winter much more bearable.

Thursday's Child - You could always visit, you know. I'm not going to try to mail you a snowball.

Sarcastic Mom - Thank you! I'm glad you like the new look. :)

Jamie - Haha! I love being trapped at home with blankets and a television and some tasty holiday goodies. It beats driving in the snow any day of the week.

My deck is covered in about an inch of snow, topped off with about two inches of ice. It was sleeting all day. The power went out eight times.

So, I did the only logical thing.

I went outside and grilled some burgers.

Scrangie - What what whaaat? (I've been watching way too much South Park lately.) You, dearie, are wee bit on the crazy side sometimes. Burgers? Seriously? Although, wow, I'm really getting a craving for some right now . . . Haha, thanks.

Sounds nice... I am jealous. I was trudging through the snow (against the wind, no less) with no gloves attempting to reach ye olde coffee shop.

Tez - Aww. At least you were heading toward a warm destination stocked with hot beverages! That's always a pleasant thought to dwell upon whilst traipsing through the bitter cold of winter.
