Things that are currently driving me bonkers:
- The sound of my father chomping on carrots down the hall.
- Blogs which fail to embrace proper capitalization.
- This stupid felt nub that is supposed to function as a mouse on the ancient craptop I have stolen from my father.
- Not having access to my own computer because it is being reformatted.
- The buzzing noise made by the same fly that woke me up this morning.
- Being suckered into thinking that the clear blue sky and brilliant sun were indicators of warmer weather.
- How much I suck at playing guitar.
Things that almost make me forget how cranky I am:
- Not being attacked at church this morning by people wanting to point out the weird formatting error I missed.
- Getting a new 500GB hard drive from Office Depot for the same price as the 250GB one, which they no longer had in stock.
- Boxes and boxes of Girl Scout cookies.
- Freshly painted toenails.
- Poking my snoring cat and watching her groggy little eyes adjust to the sunlight.
- Setting aside time to read for the fun of it.
- Kicking ass at Minesweeper, even with a stupid little nubby mouse substitute.

There would be no 'same fly' if it had woke me up this morning.

James: Alas, I cannot find the damn fly. He is buzzing about somewhere near my bed, but I haven't seen even a glimpse of him. I'm hoping that the temperature drops below freezing one last time... just to kill this little twerp. And his family.

Woken up by a fly? That's intense right there. I'm not a terribly light sleeper, I just don't ever sleep. Tossing and turning for the win!

Thursday's Child: I am actually one of the heaviest sleepers you will ever meet. But my cat stepped on my eyeball, which woke me up long enough to hear the buzzing of the fly. I then was too freaked out by the thought of swallowing a fly in my sleep to return to Dreamland. It was a rather tragic start to a morning, really.
golfwidow: I wish you didn't live so far away. We could start a sweet business as Minesweeper Tutors. Business executives from around the world would pay us for our expertise.
chris: This is my female cat, who was the first of my two kitties to start snoring. She has a very delicate snore, which borders on being "loud breathing." Sometimes, though, it gets a little obnoxious, so I have to poke her in the side. Of course, being that she's a professional sleeper, she often ignores me and continues with her noise-making.
Sanko: Heh. Yeah, well, I don't hear him in my room anymore. Thanks for taking him off my hands! :)
