Skills Inventory

I'm a bit of a failure when it comes to showing up on time, eating healthful foods, keeping plants alive, remembering movie quotes, doing laundry on a regular basis, calling people back, or being a bad-ass. Thankfully, I make up for it by being really good at spelling words, learning (and teaching!) calculus, befriending kittens, finding the perfect font, batting my eyelashes, cracking my back, and making lists.

You should hear me crack my back. Imagine taking a handful of tortilla chips, and crunching them with your hands until all you have is dust. Now imagine the sound it makes. now imagine the relief I feel. Now imagine how young I am going to be confined to a wheel chair.

Batting eyelashes is a really great skill to have.

Michael: I used to crack my back a dozen times a day, loving the relief I got from it. Now my back cracks all by itself when I stand up from a chair sometimes. Maybe we'll win a trip to Italy for being the world's first (and youngest) back-crackers in wheelchairs?

Angela: I plan to use the batting-the-eyelashes move to seduce Elijah Wood one day. :)

Calculus?!? You are officially smarter than I. The three areas where I brutally suck are accounting, manual labour, and calculus.

One: Michael's not kidding. It's gross, yet I wish I could do it.
Two: Please teach me how to bat my eyelashes. I have no idea how, but I'm pretty sure that's like Flirting 101. Maybe that's why Cute New Boy doesn't know I exist?

I fail at math and am pretty good at refusing to (re)learn it. Don't we have computers for that nonsense?
