Justin Williams: I agree. They missed the "fresh" mark and landed somewhere in a puddle of "dated" and "ugly." Not good.

Agree. Wal*Mart's new logo is teh suck.
Also, the title of this post immediately lodged that song in my brain, to be extricated only by lots and lots of equally annoying show tunes.

Crap, that Walmart logo is crap. Crap crap crap. And the blue color sucks. AND they're using that blue color with brown floors and tan buildings. Walmart has committed a cardinal sin in the design realm.
Also, the new Walmart logo is a freaking Web 2.0 failure in design itself.
