There are two keys to making sure you write things on Twitter that are funny enough for other people to mark as favorites. 1) Be friends with Seven. Don't believe me? I think half my tweets end up on Favrd thanks to her. So follow @ohmyseven on Twitter now. Even if she doesn't follow you back or fave your tweets, you won't be disappointed. That girl is amazing. 2) Hire a trained squirrel to write for you.

MJ Klein: Most people that I know mark other tweets as favorites all the time. It's a great way to bookmark funny or interesting tweets. Once you star them, they are stored on your favorites page. Favrd.com is the best way to track which one of your OWN tweets have been marked as favorites by other people, since Twitter doesn't actually alert you of that (thank goodness). I've always used the web interface much more than the SMS messages from my phone, so I find it difficult not to hand out those beloved gold stars to noteworthy tweets.
