"Have you ever heard a hungry dinosaur hiccup in the wind?"

Rachelskirts.com just disappeared from the internet for thirty whole minutes, and I haven't been so close to hyperventilating since the last time my mother cleaned my room. Actually, I did hyperventilate then.

Also, you should all be watching The Phantom Tollbooth right now. Why? It will make my father furrow his brow and say things like, "That is one sick movie," and "It was made by godless commies!" Plus, the title of this entry is a lyric sung in the movie by a giant purple cloud, The Awful Din, who serves as the sidekick to some Dr. Dischord or something. Laughter guaranteed.

Love the title - one of the few posts that caught my eye when scanning the MegaFeed this morning before "marking all as read" to let me read my favorite blogs in peace. I don't know who Rachael is, but I'm a great fan of Norton Justor's book THE PHANTOM TOLLBOOTH and couldn't resist leaving a comment to say hello and have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs and blessings,

I'm quite sure I did the same thing last weekend. I killed my blog (accidentally) and brought it back to life. Worse half hour ever.

I read the book; my favorite part was when he visits dictionopolis and mixes up letters. So of course the people cried out, "Done what you've look!"

Like your blog, girlie. If you're looking for some freelance work that builds a resume...

(don't worry, I'm no spam person. Just desperate for some great woman writers)

Ps: The Phantom Tollbooth movie scared the bejeezus out of me as a child. My tiny mind couldn't comprehend all the drug metaphors...

I never saw The Phantom Tollbooth, but I loved the book. I liked how they had to eat their words.

I'm proud to say that I helped inspire this moment.

Also, Phantom Tollbooth is a wonderfully fun story :), you little rebel, you.
