Blame It on My Youth

I, for one, look forward to the day when the robots rise up and take over. Then you might be able to expect some sort of consistent posting schedule here at Robotskirts.com.

Ahem.

Since the writing of January's lone post, I have managed to:

  1. complete an entire semester at Internet College
  2. pay a visit to the fine folks out East (namely my hunky, hunky boyfriend) and experience Valentine's Day as someone's girlfriend for the first time ever
  3. unclutter my closet
  4. start exercising on a semi-regular basis
  5. purchase and fall in love with a Barnes & Noble nook
  6. rekindle my love affair with Sims 3

I know there is a lot of talk of love in there, but I can tell you right now that only one of the things on that list made it into the Cherished Memories folder in my heart. (Hint: it's number two!) (Note: sorry for any gagging I just caused! Eat a cupcake to make yourself feel better!)

P.S. I've been working on upgrading to Movable Type 5 while simultaneously designing a new look for Rachelskirts.com, so I do apologize to the five friends still lingering here for the scant number of updates recently.

P.P.S. Ten points to the person who finds the hidden Gilmore Girls reference.

I'm going to guess the first sentence. Not because I've seen Gilmore Girls, but because it seems like something that would be quotable.

I feel you've been neglecting many people on here and on Twitter. But alas, you must live your real life. *sigh*

I'll have my own site soon enough to rival yours. Just you wait. Today Bacon Famous, tomorrow the BLOGOSPHERE!

I think it's the "hunky, hunky boyfriend" part, though I can't remember specifically which episode/season/part it's from. I want to say it was Lorelai, and probably season 2 or 3. :)

ooooh. a nook! i secretly (or not so secretly, i guess) want one. we have to chat - mostly because i have some questions to clarify before i blow some of my refund from the feds on one. namely: are there good sites/places you can get free books that are quality (not stuff that's free, but who cares about it), as well as how much it costs to purchase most books - as i can't really afford the fortune it would cost to replace even half my personal library...

ah, gilmore girls. *sigh* always good stuff. ok... shoot: (i think tabitha already got it) 'hunky hunky boyfriend' - but if i get any extra (or partial) points, is it from the one where they are in the tiny bed & breakfast and visiting Harvard (maybe?)... (score?)

I vote for "Eat a cupcake to make yourself feel better!" as the GG reference, runner up the "Cherished Memories folder". I'm probably wrong, it's probably the "hunky hunky boyfriend" the others guessed.

I have watched some GG though, 2 discs of the first season I believe. I enjoy it, plan to watch the rest. True story.

I think it's the "Cherished Memories" folder. I have never seen any Gilmore Girls though, so I am probably wrong.

I'm goin' with gRegor on this one. I'm guessing "Eat a cupcake to make yourself feel better." Having only seen small bits and pieces here and there on Friday nights, I feel overly qualified to make this assumption.
